Fine and clear - a few high clouds. This counted as 5 Munros at the time and at the end I was
absolutely knackered! A great day for it though and terrific views. Had to cross a wire bridge over a
stream on the walk to the first hill.
Difficult getting up the first one - we must have missed the path and ended up scrambling up
this steep slope, almost a cliff, through trees and stuff.

Note that there's very little drop in height between An Gearanach & An Garbhanach

We'd stayed the night in Fort William at Miss F's B&B. She lived alone with her cats and
we were the only two guests. At breakfast I asked if she would fill a flask with coffee
for me to take with us. I'd had some the previous day and the flask was still 1/4 full
of old cold coffee. Rather than empty it out and rinse it she just added some coffee on
top of the old stuff and topped it up with hot water.
Burnt the toast too, and made some conversational point by playfully hitting me on the head!
She spoke to the cats a lot too, of course, and would pause expectantly, as if waiting for their reply - I think
she would probably have been burnt at the stake a few years back.
