Thursday 27th June 2024 Day 14 – Home
After a very nice breakfast at the Newhaven Coffee Shop, we caught the train to London Victoria (changing at Lewes), rode through the madness of central London to Liverpool Street station and then got the train back to Ware. The bike computer read just 1.28 miles today but that can't be right, it was more than that crossing London from Victoria to Liverpool Street. I expect the correct figure is just over 7 miles, similar to our outbound Ware-Newhaven journey but slightly longer as the B&B was further out of town. So bringing the total for the trip to about a respectable 370 miles. Thanks for the company, the room-booking and the train-arranging, Andrew, old friend. Till the next time... | |
