Day 8 – Poses
Actually we're in a small village next to Poses, staying at a b&b called
'Le Chataignier' - seems very nice. Today was a very short ride and we were at
Poses by lunchtime. Very easy riding, smooth surfaces, virtually no traffic,
just wafting effortlessly along.

We had our third cheese omelette and chips for lunch in Poses today then rode to
Lery and lazed by the riverside until we could try the b&b.

All went well, I think it's Rouen tomorrow…
But that just shows how wrong you can be. It seems there has been a miscalculation
in the route planning and that we now may not be able to make Le Havre in the
time we (I) thought. Oops.
Ok, after some serious pondering a Plan B has been cobbled together. Now it'll
be either Rouen or La Bouille tomorrow, depending on energy levels.
Ah, dear...
28.3 miles today but some of that was just faffing about.
